It’s time for a change. But before we look to the future, let’s look back.
We founded Collective Benefits in 2019 with a simple vision: creating benefits for the self-employed. Fast forward through Covid, the Ukraine war, inflation and the cost of living crisis and I think it’s fair to say that improving the everyday financial lives of workers is more relevant than ever before.
Almost five years later, we offer over 600,000 workers in 35 countries the benefits they want and need to be successful.
But the world has changed, and we need to change with it. We need to evolve to meet the needs of our customers; whether that’s businesses looking to get the right results or workers looking for more money in their pockets.
Change can take many forms. And I’m here today to introduce a very important one: our new brand.
World, meet Onsi.
Our name is short for onside; a concept that’s the foundation of our new vision and mission.
Our new vision
Getting onside is simple. It’s about making sure everyone comes out on top; ensuring that businesses and workers maximise their opportunities and in doing so, creating a world of work where everyone wins.
So, how are we going to get there?
We’re on a mission to benefit workers’ lives. We’re starting with one million workers, then five, then ten - and beyond.
How? By helping businesses give their people meaningful benefits they can use every day to improve their financial lives:
Savings: discounts to maximise the money in workers’ pockets
Insurance: protect workers from the worst financial shocks
Instant payments: On-demand pay to help workers manage cash flow
For businesses, it’s about getting the right results and unlocking the competitive advantage an engaged workforce can bring. Our platform makes it easy to do this by rewarding long-term loyalty and incentivising behaviour through gamification and tiering.
We’re immensely proud to be building a solution for a future of work where neither party has to compromise to get what they need.
New look, new ambitions
Onsi’s a brand built with connection at its core. It reflects what’s always been important to us - using benefits to join businesses and workers - while at the same time, looking to the future and our global ambitions.
A new colour palette singles us out from the blues and reds of the traditional benefits market, while a new design system visually represents our goal to connect the business and the worker. You’ll see this design system in our app, platform and on our website from today.
You’ll also spot new design elements that speak to the global nature of our audience, such as icons - inspired by the signs at airports - designed to be understood no matter where you are in the world or what language you speak.
The next chapter
A new name and new look is a big change. But it’s one that reflects the rapidly evolving needs of our customers and users, and represents the widening the scope of our ambitions.
It’s time for a world of work where everyone wins; for platforms to power the economy and for workers to benefit from their contribution.
