One of Onsi’s key differentiating features is the ability to construct tiered benefit programs, allowing partners to provide a dynamic benefit offering to their workforce. Onsi is pleased to announce the launch of a redesigned tiering experience in the Onsi App, bringing tiering to life for Onsi members in an industry leading format.
What is tiering?
Tiering is a ‘status-based’ reward structure, which enables businesses to segment their worker benefits into different groups - such as Bronze, Silver and Gold. A business tiers its benefits programme to incentivise its workers to perform certain actions, to reach a higher tier and to be rewarded by access to more valuable benefits for doing so. This helps businesses drive their strategic goals such as worker engagement, retention and LTV.
Tiering Example:
If a business has Onsi Reward and Onsi Pay, they may structure their tiers in the following way:
Tier 1/Bronze: Access to 100 discounts. Workers can withdraw 50% of their pay early, 3 times per month. Access is unlocked after completing 5 shifts per month.
Tier 2/Silver: Access to 250 discounts. Workers can withdraw 70% of their pay early, 5 times per month. Access is unlocked after completing 8 shifts per month.
Tier 3/Gold: Access to 250 discounts % higher discounts. Workers can withdraw 80% of their pay early. Access unlocked after completing 15 shifts per month.
Introducing our new tiering experience
User experience is core to the work of product, design, and engineering teams at Onsi and we’re thrilled to be introducing our new tiering experience in the Onsi App, which aims to provide members with a clearer visualisation of their tiers and the benefits available to them. Members will now see:
Their current tier e.g. Bronze and their tier-specific benefits available to them
Their available l tier progression e.g. Silver or Gold and the benefits available on those tiers
Context on the actionable steps required to move between tiers, such as 25 more shifts to unlock the next tier.
This feature has been designed to bring your carefully designed member tiers to life, boost your engagement metrics, drive member behaviour and incentivise your members to unlock the next level (and the benefits available to them).
In tandem, Onsi will soon be releasing tiering-based communications via email and push notification, ensuring that all members are aware of the benefits available to them, which in turn will enable Onsi to further support clients to drive their strategic goals.
A tiered benefit programme can be particularly impactful when paired with the recently released Onsi API. When leveraging the Onsi Member API, partners can connect directly to Onsi, ensuring both a seamless transfer of data and the actioning of real-time updates to the benefits workers have access to on their tiered programme.
